Our vision is to make creativity a cornerstone of education, nurturing well-rounded individuals for the future.

“Through Kelab YSD-Kakiseni Junior, we have opened spaces for students to express themselves, build confidence, and explore new possibilities – affirming that the arts are not optional, but essential to holistic education for every child.

Across the three-day event, Hari Seni untuk Semua will feature a range of activities including
performances, exhibitions, talks, workshops and showcases across various disciplines – all free and open to the public. Visitors can expect a mix of visual art, music, dance, theatre, digital art and creative technology experiences designed to engage audiences of all ages.

Besides performances by students from the Kelab YSD-Kakiseni Junior programme and Sekolah Seni Malaysia Kuala Lumpur, the event will also feature Malaysian arts practitioners such as film director and writer Cech Adrea, choreographer Lau Beh Chin, Mak Yong dance practitioner Zamzuriah Zahari, Tokoh Warisan Negara Datuk Baharim Mohd Sharip & Kumpulan Kenangan Mawar Biru, among others.

Low Ngai Yuen, Kakiseni President, said, “Hari Seni Untuk Semua marks a national shift. For too long, the
arts have been treated as optional. In truth, they are the engine of imagination, resilience and identity. Today, we are placing creativity back where it belongs: at the centre of how our young people learn, how our teachers inspire, and how our communities grow.

“By opening school spaces and bringing artists directly into the learning environment, we are not running
a festival, we are building a future-ready Malaysia. This event invites students to experiment, teachers to
evolve, and families to witness how the arts shape character and capability. And it reminds us that a strong arts ecosystem is notbuilt by a few – it is built by all of us. When every voice participates, contributes and shares, the nation’s cultural spirit becomes unstoppable.

“This is our commitment: to make creativity a public good, accessible to every child, every teacher, every
community. The future of Malaysian arts begins here – together.” Through Hari Seni untuk Semua, Kakiseni aims to connect the arts with Malaysia’s education ecosystem and inspire new ways of integrating creativity and innovation into learning. continues its mission to nurture artistic growth and appreciation, building on its two-decade legacy of initiatives since its
inception.
